In 2013, as a 29 year old newlywed trying to start a family, Crystal miscarried and was diagnosed with Stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer in the same year. Going into fight or flight mode, she knew she didn’t have time to wallow in the setbacks. She knew early on that attitude would go a long way to carry her through almost 2 years of treatments and surgeries, while also accepting the fact that naturally conceiving a child would not be possible. However, after years of finding her new normal following all the cancer and mental health treatments, she found herself on a scary mix of prescription medications, which seemed to hinder her health more than help it. She turned to cannabis as a last resort, ultimately leading her to a healing and self discovery journey that she never saw coming.

She is on a mission to educate others on the power of plant health, mindset clarity, and power of influence and compassion during the toughest times, long-term stigmas, and negative opinions.
